Cooling Fault or A/C Fault in the UAE: How We Confirm Parts from the Musaffah Shelf
Published
At the Musaffah parts desk we handle cooling-system requests and A/C requests as two separate conversations, because each requires its own workshop diagnosis before we can pull a reference and check the shelf. Get the workshop to produce written findings for both systems independently, then bring both reports when you contact us.
Two faults, two separate workshop reports
Ask the workshop to state in writing whether it found a cooling-system fault, an A/C fault, or both. The written finding should name the failed component and include any OEM or aftermarket reference from the old part. Phrases such as the temperature gauge climbed or the cold air is weak identify a symptom, not a component. A symptom description alone is not enough for us to run a shelf check.
What we supply is the part confirmed against the VIN and the workshop reference. Pressure testing, leak detection, refrigerant recovery, and electrical fault-finding are procedures for the workshop. We do not replace any of those steps.
Cooling-system request: what to include
- Make, model, model year, and engine specification.
- 17-digit VIN.
- Workshop finding and the exact component named.
- Reference number from the old radiator, pump, thermostat housing, fan assembly, hose, or reservoir.
- Photographs covering labels, hose routing, connectors, and mounting hardware.
- Location and required date.
Cooling components are not shared across all engine variants or all model years in the same vehicle line. Two trucks from the same brand with different engine codes can require different water pumps. The VIN removes that ambiguity before we quote. If the old-part number is not readable, send the VIN and clear photographs rather than describing the shape of the component.
A/C parts: the reference matters more than the complaint
For a compressor, condenser, receiver-drier, blower motor, sensor, or control unit, send the same vehicle information plus the workshop reference and photographs of the old component label and its connectors. Electrical A/C parts, including sensors and control modules, cannot be returned once fitted. The reference must be verified before installation, not discovered afterward.
Refrigerant type, charge volume, and system pressure data come from the vehicle information and the workshop findings. Neither a blog article nor a model-year assumption is a reliable source for those figures.
Which OEM line covers your vehicle
Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac fall under ACDelco and GM Genuine Parts. Motorcraft covers Ford and Lincoln; Mopar covers Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and RAM. Gates is our standard supply for belt-driven cooling components and hoses. Denso A/C and fuel parts are available on request. When the team sends a quotation, ask for the brand name and the exact part number. Confirm both before you agree to pay.
Genuine parts and trusted aftermarket equivalents carry manufacturing-defect cover, activated by a workshop report or a documented failure record. The cover period is not published as a fixed number of months.
Stock is checked at the time of each request
The 43,597 SKUs across our verified range do not guarantee that a specific radiator or compressor is sitting on the shelf at the moment you enquire. Stock status is checked against the VIN and the reference when you contact us. If the item is not in shelf stock, we give you a sourcing lead time on WhatsApp before you decide to order.
A shelf-stock part confirmed before midday can be dispatched the same day within Abu Dhabi. Parts heading to Sharjah, Ajman, or the Northern Emirates arrive the next working day. For locations outside the standard delivery area, ask the team for a confirmed schedule before placing the order.
Send the workshop finding, VIN, old-part number, and photos using the part-request form or WhatsApp. Browse engine and cooling parts and service parts as category references only; fitment is confirmed against the specific request.
