INVENTORY

What's on the Engine Shelf at Musaffah

The engine shelf at M-40 in Musaffah reaches all eight American makes. GM platforms covered: Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500, Tahoe, Suburban, Camaro, Malibu, Traverse, Cruze, Impala, Aveo, Caprice; GMC Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Terrain; Cadillac Escalade, CTS, XT5, XT6. Mopar: Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango; Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee; Chrysler 300C, 300S; RAM 1500, 2500, 3500. Ford: F-150, Explorer, Mustang, Expedition, Edge, EcoSport, Focus, Fiesta, Escape.

On mounts, we stock front, rear, and transmission-side positions. Gaskets in rotation include head, valve cover, intake manifold, and oil pan sets. Timing chains, tensioners, and timing belts (on platforms that use them) are stocked together with water pumps, thermostat housings, drive and accessory belts, and block hardware. Platforms with a published replacement interval for timing or water pump work typically have the kit available.

Chrysler 300C and 300S come in Pentastar 3.6-litre and HEMI 5.7-litre variants, and the timing chain cover gasket sets do not cross between the two engine families. We rotate stock for both. RAM 2500 and 3500 diesel availability shifts with build specification: send the VIN and the engine code before ordering to avoid a wasted journey.

PARTS SOURCING

Which Brand Are You Getting When You Order an Engine Part

The OEM line for GM platforms (Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac) is ACDelco and GM Genuine Parts. Ford engine components carry the Motorcraft name. Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and RAM parts come from Mopar. When your service manual cites a specific OEM part number, we pull from that line first.

On the aftermarket side, Gates supplies our regular belt, tensioner, and water pump stock across most American platforms, and Bosch engine components come in on a consistent cycle. Neither brand is a universal OEM substitute. Where the job calls for an OEM part to preserve a warranty, say so when you contact us: we run the OEM line first before pulling anything from the aftermarket shelf.

How to order: share your VIN and describe the part. We tell you what is sitting on the shelf, name the supplier line, and verify the fitment for your specific build. Aftermarket is not the starting assumption: we go there only after confirming OEM stock is out for that application.

FITMENT CHECK

Engine Variants Don't Transfer Across Years: Why We Need Your VIN

The 5.3-litre V8 designation appeared in both pre- and post-2019 Silverado generations. Valley cover part numbers and timing chain tensioner specifications can differ across that 2019 change, so the build date is what determines the correct part. F-150 production ran three engine families through overlapping years: the 5.0 Coyote, the 3.5 EcoBoost, and the 2.7 EcoBoost each have their own belt path and a distinct water pump. Wrangler JK (2007–2018) and JL (2018-on) share the 3.6 Pentastar name, but their intake manifold gasket sets are not cross-compatible between generations.

Decoding a 17-digit VIN gives us the factory engine code, the production specification, and the UAE build configuration. Each of those three data points can affect which gasket set, mount, or timing component the vehicle actually needs. If you have the existing part to hand, photograph the OEM number stamped on it: that gives us a direct cross-reference to run against the shelf before the order is confirmed.

DELIVERY & HOURS

Getting Engine Parts from the Musaffah Counter

Motronix Shop is at Musaffah Industrial Area M-40, Abu Dhabi. We are open Monday to Saturday 08:30–19:30. Walk-ins are welcome; sending your VIN and part description on WhatsApp before you travel means we confirm shelf status first and you don't wait.

Shelf-stock orders confirmed before midday go out same day to Abu Dhabi addresses. For Dubai, the delivery falls on the next working day; Sharjah, Ajman, and the other Northern Emirates follow the same next-day schedule. Send the VIN and part number over WhatsApp before placing the order. Nothing is reserved against an enquiry alone.

WARRANTY

Before You Fit an Engine Part: What the Warranty Covers

ACDelco, GM Genuine, Motorcraft, and Mopar OEM parts include manufacturing-defect warranty cover. Gates and Bosch, which are the aftermarket lines we regularly supply, come with supplier parts warranty where the respective supplier provides it. Every warranty claim requires written evidence: a workshop inspection report or a documented description of the failure.

Engine control modules, camshaft position sensors, crankshaft sensors, and ignition coils cannot be returned after installation, regardless of source. If diagnosis is uncertain and you are not sure the sensor itself is faulty rather than the wiring or the signal path, send us the fault code and the part number on WhatsApp before installing anything. We cross-check the specification against your VIN so you know you are fitting the right component before the work starts.

FITMENT REFERENCE

Fitment Reference: ACDelco, Motorcraft, and Mopar Engine Part Numbers

Numbers in this table were drawn from the ACDelco catalogue at parts.chevrolet.com, from ford.oempartsonline.com and dealer.parts.ford.com (Motorcraft), and from store.mopar.com (Mopar). Cross-reference before ordering; this is not a live stock or price list. Two build-specific split points to watch before placing an order. First, F-150 water pump numbers are engine-dependent: PW-639 is the 5.0L Coyote V8 pump with the gasket included; PW-591 is the revised specification for the 3.5L EcoBoost in the 2018–2020 range. The incorrect pump seats normally during installation and the issue only surfaces under operating pressure. Second, the two Mopar oil filter entries divide by engine family: 4884899AC covers the 5.7L HEMI, the 4.7L V8, and related variants; 68191349AC covers the 3.6L Pentastar V6. Both engine families appear across Charger, Grand Cherokee, RAM 1500, and Wrangler, so the engine code from the 17-digit VIN is the reliable distinguisher.

What the Counter Moved: Engine Seals and Gaskets Over Twelve Months

Counter invoices for the twelve months through September 2026 show a repeating pattern at Musaffah in the engine category: internal hardware for the Chrysler Pentastar 3.6L and engine seals for the Jeep Wrangler 3.6L dominate the high-frequency lines, with Ford coolant-circuit hardware rounding out the picture. The table below ranks those positions by invoice volume, reviewed September 2026.

What follows is drawn from invoice frequency and supply-cycle data, not from a real-time shelf count. Stock levels shift between supply runs. WhatsApp your 17-digit VIN before making the trip to Musaffah: the desk works out your engine variant from the VIN and checks current availability before a price is quoted.

Three of the Wrangler 3.6L Pentastar entries in this table are standalone seals rather than bolted sub-assemblies: VVT solenoid O-ring, camshaft position sensor seal, and spark plug tube seal. The concentration of seals in this application reflects the disassembly order for 3.6L Pentastar timing-cover and camshaft work, where those seals are routinely replaced as part of the job.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock timing kits for the Dodge Charger and RAM 1500 HEMI?
Yes. The shelf carries timing chain kits covering the HEMI in both 5.7-litre and 6.4-litre forms: Charger, Challenger, Durango, RAM 1500, and RAM 2500 are all in scope. Send the VIN first: HEMI timing components are not identical across generations, and a mismatched tensioner or guide set will cause problems on the bench.
Can I order a water pump and belt kit together for my Ford F-150?
Yes, provided we know the engine variant first. The F-150 uses three distinct setups depending on which engine is fitted: the Coyote 5.0, the EcoBoost 3.5, or the EcoBoost 2.7, each with its own pump routing and belt configuration. Motorcraft OEM and Gates aftermarket are both on hand for the common F-150 variants. Send the VIN and we confirm shelf availability for your specific build before you commit to an order.
Does the engine mount fitment differ between UAE-spec and US-spec Chevrolet Tahoe?
Sometimes, yes. Tahoes built for the UAE market can have emission and cooling equipment differences that change bracket positions and accessory mount fitment. The factory build spec embedded in the VIN tells us what your unit actually carries. Send the VIN before ordering: we pull the correct mount number from ACDelco or GM Genuine for your exact configuration. That saves a return visit.
