Three generations of F-150 have shelf coverage at the Musaffah counter. Tell us your engine code alongside the VIN: filter and spark plug part numbers vary between the 2.7L EcoBoost, the 3.5L, and the 5.0L Coyote V8 even within the same model year. We confirm before you make the trip.
INVENTORY
What the Musaffah Counter Carries for F-150
Three F-150 generations are covered at the Musaffah counter under the Motorcraft range: 12th gen (2009–2014, steel-body P415), 13th gen (2015–2020, aluminum-body P552), and 14th gen (2021–on, P702). On the shelf in regular rotation: oil filters, spark plugs, ignition coils, suspension control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, power steering components, cabin air filters, brake pads, and rotors.
Engine coverage spans the twin-turbo EcoBoost family in 2.7L and 3.5L displacements, the 5.0L Coyote V8, and from 2021 the PowerBoost 3.5L hybrid system. Some 14th gen trucks came with the 3.0L Power Stroke diesel. Each engine family draws from its own Motorcraft filter, fuel filter, and air filter SKU.
Lincoln Navigator is built on the same platform as the F-150 and shares its powertrain families. Navigator enquiries can be handled at the same Motorcraft counter. Send the Navigator VIN with your part request; we confirm whether the bin overlap applies.
GENERATION DECODER
Which F-150 Platform Code Do You Have?
F-150 compatibility maps across four platform codes, with 2015 marking the hardest boundary. The 13th gen (P552) adopted an aluminum alloy body that year: cab, bed, bonding hardware, and structural fasteners all changed. Nothing from the steel-body P221 or P415 carries across. Any F-150 built in 2014 or earlier is a steel truck; its brake caliper dimensions, suspension geometry, and engine families are specific to P221 or P415.
On P221 (2004–2008), Ford used the Triton modular V8 in 4.6L and 5.4L forms with four-speed automatic gearboxes. Wheel bearing assemblies, front caliper brackets, and control arms from P221 are chassis-specific and will not cross-fit the 12th gen. P415 (2009–2014) moved most production to six speeds, and 2011 retired the Triton V8s in favour of a fresh lineup: 3.7L V6, 5.0L Coyote V8, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, and 6.2L V8 on performance trims. Every one of those engines needs its own Motorcraft oil filter and plug spec.
P702 (2021–on) introduced an optional hybrid system: a motor-generator integrated into the 10-speed automatic with a battery pack housed beneath the bed. PowerBoost powertrain control hardware and transmission internals differ from standard P702 production and do not cross to P552. Give us your platform code (P221, P415, P552, or P702) with engine and drivetrain type; we narrow the Motorcraft number before searching the shelf. A 17-digit VIN or a door-jamb build sticker photo sent on WhatsApp gets platform and part confirmed in a single exchange.
| Generation | Years | Platform code | What changes for parts |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11th gen | 2004–2008 | P221 | Triton V8 (4.6L/5.4L) with four-speed automatic; suspension geometry and caliper brackets unique, no cross-fit to P415 |
| 12th gen | 2009–2014 | P415 | 5.0L Coyote V8 and 3.5L EcoBoost (2011 debut) added; Motorcraft oil filters and spark plugs engine-specific, no cross to P221 |
| 13th gen | 2015–2020 | P552 | Aluminum alloy body from 2015: body panels and structural fasteners do not fit any steel-body P221/P415 |
| 14th gen | 2021–present | P702 | PowerBoost hybrid adds a motor-generator unit to the 10-speed auto; those driveline parts do not cross to the P552 |
OEM & AFTERMARKET
Motorcraft Is the Factory Spec for F-150 Service
Ford's F-150 workshop manual calls out Motorcraft by part number at every scheduled interval: serpentine belt kits, spark plugs, ignition coils, and filters are each listed by name, not offered as options. At Musaffah, we stock Motorcraft across all three current F-150 generations. These are the parts Ford specified, not aftermarket substitutes.
Customer-specified aftermarket rotors, brake pads, and suspension components are available. Warranty terms are the same as Motorcraft: a documented fault is required, and electrical items cannot be returned once installed. Start with the model year, engine family, and part type when you call or WhatsApp. We check Motorcraft availability first; if it is not on the shelf, we quote an aftermarket option so you can choose.
FITMENT CHECK
Steel Body or Aluminum? F-150 VIN Fitment Explained
The sharpest break in F-150 parts history came in 2015. Moving to an aluminum alloy body (cab and bed) shed around 300 kg from kerb weight and forced revisions to fastener specs, panel bonding, and torque values across suspension and bed-mount points. Steel-body 12th gen (2009–2014) parts do not interchange with the aluminum 13th gen, even when they look identical. Run the VIN before anything is reserved.
Engine identity is the second filter check. The 3.5L EcoBoost has two generations: the 2011 version (Gen 1, on the 12th gen platform) and the updated 2015 version (Gen 2, on the 13th gen). They share a twin-turbo layout but differ in intercooler routing, oil filter housing orientation, and accessory mounts. The 2.7L EcoBoost that arrived with the 13th gen is an entirely separate engine family from the 3.5L. Coyote V8 5.0L coverage spans multiple platforms but includes oil cooling circuit and exhaust manifold revisions at each platform boundary. Send an engine code or full VIN on WhatsApp; we pull the right Motorcraft filter or plug.
From 2021, P702 brought the PowerBoost hybrid option: a 35 kW electric motor integrated into the 10-speed automatic. PowerBoost driveline parts do not interchange with standard 3.5L EcoBoost transmission hardware. UAE F-150 trucks may be US-spec or GCC-spec: differential gear ratios and brake configurations can differ between the two. We run the VIN against our parts matrix before reserving anything.
DELIVERY & HOURS
Picking Up or Shipping F-150 Parts: How It Works
The counter is at Musaffah Industrial Area M-40, Abu Dhabi, open Monday to Saturday 08:30–19:30. Walk-ins are welcome, though WhatsApping the VIN and part number ahead saves time on both ends.
Send the VIN and part number first; we hold the item on the shelf before you make the trip or before we ship. Abu Dhabi orders with shelf-confirmation before midday go out the same day. Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai, and the emirates to the north are next working day. We do not reserve F-150 parts without a confirmed order.
WARRANTY
Warranty Cover for F-150 Parts: Motorcraft and Aftermarket
All Motorcraft parts are warranted against manufacturing defects. Aftermarket F-150 items we supply are covered as well, provided the fault is properly documented. To make a claim, you will need evidence: a workshop report or a written account of what failed.
Electrical components on the F-150 (including SYNC units, powertrain control modules, body control modules, ignition coils, and sensors) cannot be returned once fitted. This applies to both Motorcraft and aftermarket sourcing. If you have doubts about an electrical part before installation, WhatsApp the part number and a fault description. We verify against VIN and engine family before you commit.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I buy Motorcraft parts for the F-150 12th gen and 13th gen at Musaffah?
- Yes. Steel-body 12th gen F-150 (2009–2014) and the aluminum-body 13th gen (2015–2020) are both stocked, alongside the 14th gen from 2021 onward. Platform matters: each generation runs distinct suspension geometry, caliper specs, and engine-specific filter numbers. WhatsApp the VIN or the year and engine code. We pull from the shelf and confirm before you travel.
- Can you supply Motorcraft EcoBoost filters and spark plugs for the F-150 in the UAE?
- For EcoBoost, we stock Motorcraft fuel filters, air filters, and oil filters for both the 2.7L and the 3.5L on the shelf. Coyote V8 5.0L spark plugs are in as well. Turbocharged EcoBoost engines need the Motorcraft filter with a calibrated anti-drainback valve to maintain oil pressure on cold starts. Give us the engine code or the full VIN; we pull the exact number, not just the engine family.
- What is the fitment difference between 12th gen and 13th gen F-150 for parts ordering?
- The 12th gen (2009–2014) was built with a steel cab and box. Moving to aluminum alloy on the 13th gen (2015–2020) revised strut mount specs, caliper bracket dimensions, engine mount torque values, and exhaust routing. A 2014 F-150 part typically will not fit a 2015, even when they appear the same. Model year or full VIN on WhatsApp; we do not guess fitment.
