& the UAE
Three rear-drive platforms, three completely separate parts pools: that is the CTS from 2003 through 2019. The first generation (2003–2007) ran on Sigma and came as a sedan only. For 2008, Cadillac introduced Sigma II alongside a wider body range: sedan through 2014, coupe from 2011, and sport wagon from 2010; glass, body panels, and some rear suspension geometry differ between those body styles. The third generation (2014–2019) used an extended Alpha platform, sedan only again. No suspension, brake, or body part crosses any of these three platform boundaries. CT5 replaced the CTS for 2020 and its parts are on a completely different architecture; nothing from CT5 transfers to any CTS build. We stock ACDelco and GM Genuine at Musaffah for all three generations. Send the year, body style, and VIN and we pin the platform before touching any part.
INVENTORY
Cadillac CTS Spare Parts: Three Generations on the Shelf
At the Musaffah shop we cover all three CTS generations. The parts we hold for this model include suspension control arms and bushings for the front and rear axles, wheel bearings, stabilizer bar links, brake rotors and pads, engine air filters, cabin filters, oil filters, and spark plugs. First generation (2003–2007, Sigma), second generation (2008–2014, Sigma II), and third generation (2014–2019, Alpha) each have their own stock pool here. ACDelco and GM Genuine are the OEM lines across the full CTS range.
Engine type is the first thing to pin down before pulling any filter or spark plug for the CTS. The first generation started with a 3.2L V6, gained the 3.6L V6 from 2004, and added a 2.8L V6 entry option from 2005; CTS-V in this generation ran a 5.7L LS6 then a 6.0L LS2. A 3.6L V6 opened the second generation; from 2010, a 3.0L V6 was also available. The CTS-V variant in that generation used a supercharged 6.2L V8 LSA. Third-generation CTS launched with both a 2.0L turbocharged I4 and the 3.6L V6, adding a twin-turbo 3.6L V6 for V-Sport and a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 in the CTS-V. None of these service items interchange across engine families. WhatsApp year, engine, and VIN and we identify which parts apply to your build.
GENERATION DECODER
CTS Generation Decoder: Sigma, Sigma II, and Alpha
Sort the generation before sorting the part. Second and third generation CTS production ran concurrently from September 2013: GM was already building 2014 Alpha-platform sedans while Sigma II sedan production was still active. CTS-V coupe from the second generation stayed in production into 2015. A 2014 CTS in front of you could sit on either Sigma II or Alpha; no suspension, brake, or body parts cross that divide. The 17-digit VIN gives you the generation, platform, and engine code without guesswork. Send it first.
Within the Sigma II second generation, body style is its own fitment variable. Three body styles ran: sedan from 2008 to 2014, sport wagon from 2010 to 2014, and coupe from 2011 to 2014. Drivetrain and mechanical platform are common to all three, but body panels, glass, and some rear suspension geometry split by body style. A body or glass part ordered for a second-generation sedan will not seat in a coupe or wagon from the same year. The table below ties each generation to its platform and marks the transitions that matter for parts.
| Generation | Years | Platform | What changes for parts |
|---|---|---|---|
| First generation | 2003–2007 | Sigma | 3.2L V6 original, 3.6L V6 from 2004, 2.8L V6 entry level from 2005; CTS-V (2004–2007): 5.7L LS6 V8 (2004–2005) then 6.0L LS2 V8 (2006–2007) with Brembo four-piston calipers front and rear; fully independent rear-drive suspension; sedan body only; no parts cross to the Sigma II second generation |
| Second generation | 2008–2014 | Sigma II | 3.6L V6 at launch, 3.0L V6 added from 2010; sedan (2008–2014), coupe (2011–2014), sport wagon (2010–2014); coupe and wagon differ from sedan in body panels, glass, and some rear suspension geometry; CTS-V (2009–2015): supercharged 6.2L LSA V8 with Brembo six-piston front calipers; rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive available; no parts cross to the Sigma first generation or the Alpha third generation |
| Third generation | 2014–2019 | Alpha | Turbocharged 2.0L I4 and 3.6L V6 at launch; twin-turbo 3.6L V6 in V-Sport trim; sedan only; CTS-V (2016–2019): supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 with Brembo brake system; replaced by CT5 for 2020; CT5 parts do not fit the CTS; no parts cross from the Sigma II second generation |
FITMENT CHECK
CTS Parts Fitment: Three Platforms, Body Styles, and CTS-V Specifics
Each of the three platforms is its own fitment universe. Suspension geometry, brake layout, and engine bay configuration are all distinct across Sigma, Sigma II, and Alpha. A suspension arm from any first-generation Sigma build will not seat in a Sigma II or Alpha chassis, and nothing transfers in the other direction either. Send the 17-digit VIN first; it locks in the generation and platform without requiring you to count model years or decode trim names.
Body style within the Sigma II second generation adds its own fitment boundary. The CTS Sigma II body range ran the sedan (2008 to 2014), the coupe (2011 to 2014), and the sport wagon (2010 to 2014). All three share the same drivetrain and mechanical platform, but body panels, glass, and some rear suspension geometry differ by body style. A rear glass panel or body trim pulled for a second-generation sedan will not cross-fit a coupe or wagon from the same model year. Include the body style alongside the VIN for any body or glass order on a second-generation CTS.
CTS-V brake fitment draws a hard line within each generation. The high-performance variant ran Brembo hardware across all three generations, with calipers and rotor sizes that are specific to the CTS-V and do not carry to the standard CTS or the V-Sport trim. First generation used Brembo four-piston calipers at both axles; the second generation moved to Brembo six-piston fixed calipers on the front. Neither specification crosses over. If brake parts are on the order, the VIN tells us standard CTS, V-Sport, or CTS-V before anything is quoted.
OEM & AFTERMARKET
ACDelco and GM Genuine for CTS: Three Generations Covered
At Musaffah, the CTS is covered by two OEM lines across all three generations: ACDelco and GM Genuine. For brakes, filters, and suspension components on Sigma, Alpha, and Sigma II builds, the standard choice is ACDelco Gold (Professional), which is the OEM-equivalent grade. Where fitment tolerance demands an exact factory match, as with rear-drive suspension geometry-sensitive parts, the right line is ACDelco Original Equipment (OE). GM Genuine Parts is the single-tier factory OE option. Both are in stock at the M-40 unit for CTS applications.
Year alone does not specify a CTS service part, because engine diversity runs across the entire model range. A 3.2L V6 and a 3.6L V6 from the same first generation do not share an oil filter or an air filter. In the second generation, the 3.0L V6 and 3.6L V6 are both 2010-onward options yet carry separate service item specifications. The third generation's 2.0L turbocharged I4 has its own filter and spark plug set, separate from the 3.6L V6 running alongside it. Aftermarket alternatives are available for CTS where cost is the priority. Electrical components are non-returnable once fitted, regardless of line. WhatsApp the year, engine, and VIN and we name the correct line and specification for your generation and build.
DELIVERY & HOURS
Collecting or Ordering CTS Parts: What to Confirm First
You'll find us at Motronix Shop, Musaffah Industrial Area M-40, Abu Dhabi. Hours run Monday through Saturday, 08:30–19:30. The counter is open to walk-ins; to save time, send us the model year, body style, and VIN on WhatsApp before travelling and we check what the shelf carries for your CTS. Three platform generations plus body style in the second generation means we need those details before confirming availability.
Orders with stock confirmed before midday go out same day within Abu Dhabi. Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, and the northern UAE get next working day. Remote locations: use WhatsApp to check availability and lead time before you order. Parts are held for confirmed orders only. Share your CTS generation and VIN and we hold from the shelf once that is confirmed.
WARRANTY
CTS Parts Warranty: ACDelco and Aftermarket Terms
Manufacturing defect warranty applies to the OEM lines we stock for the CTS. Both ACDelco and GM Genuine carry that cover across brake components, suspension arms and bushings, filters, and mechanical parts for all three CTS generations. Aftermarket parts we supply for the CTS come with warranty where the fault is documented. Claims need written proof: a workshop report or a written fault description.
One category is exempt from the standard return terms for the CTS: electrical components. Engine management sensors, TPMS modules, and ABS wheel speed sensors are non-returnable once installed, regardless of which brand they carry. If any electrical part is uncertain before fitting, WhatsApp the fault code and part specification first. We run it against your CTS VIN and confirm the right part for your generation and engine before you commit.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do first-generation Sigma and second-generation Sigma II CTS parts cross-fit?
- No. Sigma and Sigma II share a naming pattern, not a platform. Brake components, body fitments, and suspension geometry are all distinct between the first generation (2003–2007, Sigma) and the second generation (2008–2014, Sigma II). A part drawn for one platform will not fit the other across any of these categories. Send your 17-digit VIN and we pin the generation before anything is pulled.
- Can I use Cadillac CT5 parts on a Cadillac CTS?
- No. CTS production closed out in 2019; CT5 took over for 2020 and sits on a different platform entirely. CT5 parts are not compatible with any CTS generation, including the third-generation Alpha (2014–2019). When sourcing, make sure you are on CTS part numbers and not CT5. Send your VIN and we verify the correct specification before anything is touched.
- Do CTS-V brakes fit a standard CTS or the V-Sport trim?
- No. The CTS-V carried dedicated Brembo brake hardware, with multi-piston calipers and oversized rotors specific to the high-performance variant. The first-generation CTS-V used Brembo four-piston calipers front and rear; the second-generation CTS-V used Brembo six-piston fixed calipers on the front axle. These are not shared with the standard CTS or the V-Sport trim. The caliper dimensions and rotor sizes differ. Send your VIN and we confirm which brake specification your vehicle carries before you order.
- How do I identify which CTS generation I have before ordering parts?
- The 17-digit VIN is the most reliable method. Position 10 of the VIN encodes the model year, which maps to the generation: 2003–2007 is the Sigma first generation, 2008–2014 is the Sigma II second generation, and 2014–2019 is the Alpha third generation. The body style (sedan, coupe, or sport wagon) also matters for second-generation body and glass parts. Send your year, body style, engine, and full VIN on WhatsApp and we decode the generation and confirm the correct parts before anything is pulled from the shelf.
