Chevrolet Impala Parts
in Abu Dhabi
& the UAE
Two completely different vehicles shared the Impala name from 2014 through 2016. Chevrolet kept the ninth-generation W-body Impala in production for fleet buyers, rebadged as the Impala Limited; it ran the same body and suspension architecture it had carried since 2006. At the same time, the all-new tenth-generation Impala built on the Epsilon II platform entered retail showrooms. Different suspension geometry, different platform, zero shared service or suspension parts. A customer quoting a 2015 Impala could be describing either vehicle, and the year alone is not enough to confirm the right part. Production of the tenth generation ran until February 28, 2020. Ex-fleet W-body Impalas still circulate in the UAE alongside tenth-generation retail units, which keeps demand for both generations active. We hold ACDelco and GM Genuine at Musaffah for both. Send the 17-digit VIN before you ask for anything off the shelf.
INVENTORY
Both Impala Generations on the Shelf at Musaffah
Brake pads and rotors, suspension control arms and bushings, wheel bearings, stabilizer links, oil and air filters, and spark plugs are regular items at our Musaffah counter for both W-body and Epsilon II Impalas. ACDelco Gold (Professional) and GM Genuine cover the full model year range across both platforms. Both lines are on the shelf.
The ninth-generation W-body ran the 3.5L V6 as its base engine through 2011, with the 3.9L V6 optional on upper trims from 2007. The 2012 model year brought a change to the 3.6L V6 exclusively; that engine continued unchanged through the Impala Limited fleet run from 2014 to 2016. The tenth generation started in 2014 with a 2.5L I4 base option alongside the 3.6L V6; Chevrolet dropped the I4 for 2020, leaving the 3.6L as the sole engine in the final year. Each engine combination calls for its own oil filter, air filter, and spark plug part numbers. WhatsApp the model year, engine, and VIN before visiting.
GENERATION DECODER
Reading the Impala Platform Between 2014 and 2016
Between 2014 and 2016, a customer buying a new Impala had two distinct options depending on where they walked in. Fleet and government buyers received the Impala Limited, a W-body carryover with the body and suspension architecture from 2006. Retail showrooms sold the fully redesigned tenth-generation Impala on the Epsilon II platform. The suspension geometry differs, the engine families in the earlier years of that overlap differ, and no service or suspension parts cross between the two. The table below maps each generation against its platform and the key parts-relevant changes across the full production run.
Inside the ninth generation, the 2012 model year cuts the parts catalogue in two. Cars built through 2011 ran the 3.5L or 3.9L V6; from 2012 the LFX 3.6L replaced both, bringing new oil filter, air filter, and spark plug part numbers with it. The 3.6L then carried straight through into the Impala Limited, so a 2016 Impala Limited and a 2013 retail ninth-gen share the same engine service items. WhatsApp the 17-digit VIN. One lookup resolves the generation, the platform, and the engine family before anything is reserved at the counter.
| Generation | Years | Platform | What changes for parts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ninth generation (retail) | 2006–2013 | W-body | 3.5L V6 base engine at launch; 3.9L V6 optional on upper trims from 2007; 3.6L LFX V6 replaced both for the 2012 model year refresh, paired with a 6-speed automatic replacing the prior 4-speed; oil filter, air filter, and spark plug part numbers differ between the 2006–2011 and 2012–2013 model years; no service or suspension parts cross to the Epsilon II tenth generation |
| Impala Limited (ninth gen, fleet only) | 2014–2016 | W-body | Ninth-generation W-body body carried over exclusively for fleet, rental, and government use; 3.6L V6 and 6-speed automatic from the 2012 refresh continue unchanged; shares all W-body platform service and suspension parts with 2012–2013 ninth-gen retail Impala; ordering a tenth-generation Epsilon II part for this vehicle is a common fitment error; production ended May 2016 |
| Tenth generation | 2014–2020 | Epsilon II | Fully redesigned retail replacement, launched alongside the Impala Limited for 2014; 2.5L naturally aspirated I4 base engine and 3.6L V6 option at launch; 2.5L discontinued for the 2020 model year; 3.6L V6 sole engine in 2020; production ended February 28, 2020; Epsilon II platform shared with Cadillac XTS and second-generation Buick LaCrosse; no service or suspension parts cross to the W-body ninth generation or Impala Limited |
FITMENT CHECK
The 2014–2016 Overlap: Two Cars, One Badge, No Interchangeable Parts
Retail buyers in 2014 could order a brand-new tenth-generation Impala on the Epsilon II platform, with a redesigned suspension it shared with the Cadillac XTS and second-generation Buick LaCrosse. Fleet buyers in the same year, shopping at a separate channel, took delivery of the Impala Limited: the ninth-generation W-body body, the same structure the car had carried since 2006, updated with the 3.6L V6 from the 2012 refresh. These are not two trim levels of the same car. They are two cars on two separate platforms.
The practical effect at the parts counter is this: a brake rotor for a 2015 Impala Limited is a W-body part. A brake rotor for a 2015 Impala is an Epsilon II part. They are different components with different part numbers. Quote the year 2014, 2015, or 2016 without a VIN and we cannot confirm the platform, which means we cannot confirm the part. Both vehicles entered UAE showrooms as new, and retired Impala Limited fleet units continue to circulate locally without the Limited badge clearly visible. The VIN resolves the ambiguity in one check.
Certain service parts on the ninth-generation W-body Impala cross to other W-body siblings of the same era, depending on the specific item, build year, and exact configuration. We confirm all cross-platform fitment against the VIN only; model name alone is not a reliable guide. Send the 17-digit VIN on WhatsApp and we check the generation before pulling anything from the shelf.
OEM & AFTERMARKET
ACDelco and GM Genuine at Musaffah: Which Tier Fits Your Impala
Two OEM lines cover the Impala at Musaffah. ACDelco Gold (Professional) is the OEM-equivalent choice for brakes, filters, suspension bushings, and mechanical work across both W-body and Epsilon II generations. ACDelco Original Equipment (OE) carries the exact factory part number, the right call when fitment tolerance is tight, as it is with geometry-sensitive suspension items. GM Genuine Parts is the single-tier factory OE line. Both brands are on the shelf here for Impala applications.
Which items you need depends on engine and model year. The 3.5L V6 in the ninth generation through 2011 carries different oil filter and air filter part numbers from the 3.6L that replaced it from 2012. The tenth-generation 2.5L I4 takes different service items from the 3.6L V6 in the same model year. Where a customer specifies an aftermarket alternative, or where cost drives the decision, we carry those too. Electrical parts, including sensors and modules, are non-returnable once fitted across all brands. WhatsApp the year, engine, and VIN and we advise which line fits your build.
DELIVERY & HOURS
Before You Drive to Musaffah: Check the Shelf Status First
Motronix Shop is at Musaffah Industrial Area M-40, Abu Dhabi. The counter is open Monday to Saturday, 08:30 to 19:30. Walk-in trade is welcome; WhatsApp your generation, model year, engine, and VIN beforehand so we can confirm what is on the shelf before you make the trip.
Orders for shelf-stock items confirmed before midday go out the same day within Abu Dhabi. Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and the Northern Emirates receive next working day. Remote locations need a lead-time check on WhatsApp before you order. Parts are not held for unconfirmed orders. Confirm the Impala generation and VIN first; reservation comes after that.
WARRANTY
How Warranty Works on Impala Parts at Motronix
ACDelco and GM Genuine for the Impala carry a warranty covering manufacturing defects. Brake components, suspension arms and bushings, filters, and mechanical parts are included across both the ninth-generation W-body and the tenth-generation Epsilon II. Aftermarket Impala parts we supply carry warranty cover too, provided the defect is documented. A workshop report or written fault description is required to support any claim.
Electrical Impala components, including ABS wheel speed sensors, TPMS modules, and engine management sensors, are non-returnable after fitting regardless of brand. If you are not certain a part matches your application before you install it, send the fault code and the part number on WhatsApp. We check it against your VIN and confirm the correct specification for your generation and engine before you commit to the installation.

What the Musaffah Counter Regularly Carries for Impala Customers
Every part code in this table comes from the Motronix ERP stock and sales records, reviewed September 2026. Each one has been stocked and moved at Musaffah for Impala customers; the sequence reflects actual counter demand, not catalogue order.
Availability changes day to day. This table is a shelf reference only. WhatsApp the 17-digit VIN before visiting; the desk checks today's status and confirms the correct generation fitment before any part is reserved.
Cabin air filter demand at this counter leads every other Impala category by a wide margin, centred on part 13508023. After that, demand concentrates in shock absorber mounts, stabilizer links, and transmission mounts rather than engine service items. That pattern reflects the Impala customer mix at this location.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do ninth-generation W-body and tenth-generation Epsilon II Impalas share spare parts?
- They do not share parts. The ninth-generation Impala (2006–2016, including the Impala Limited) runs on the GM W-body platform. The tenth-generation (2014–2020) uses the Epsilon II platform. Separate architectures, different suspension geometry, different drivetrain configurations, nothing in service or suspension parts transfers between them. Send the 17-digit VIN and we confirm your generation and platform before anything is ordered.
- How do I know if my 2014, 2015, or 2016 Impala is the W-body or Epsilon II version?
- The VIN is the only reliable check. WhatsApp us the 17-digit number and we decode the platform in one step. Both the Impala Limited (W-body, fleet) and the standard Impala (Epsilon II, retail) entered UAE showrooms as new between 2014 and 2016. The Limited badge is often absent on ex-fleet vehicles, which makes the model trim unreliable as a guide. Use the VIN.
- Which engine families does the tenth-generation Impala have and do service parts differ between them?
- The tenth-generation Epsilon II started with two engine choices: the 2.5L naturally aspirated I4 as the base and the 3.6L V6 as the option. Chevrolet dropped the 2.5L for 2020, so that year ran the 3.6L only. Oil filters, air filters, and spark plugs differ between the two engine families regardless of model year. Include your engine alongside the VIN when you contact us on WhatsApp.
- Do you stock Impala parts for the final 2020 model year?
- Parts for the 2020 Impala are in stock at Musaffah. That was the final model year of the tenth generation, built at Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly through February 28, 2020, running the 3.6L V6 exclusively since the 2.5L I4 was discontinued that year. The 2020 cars fall within the Epsilon II tenth-generation stock we hold. Send the VIN to confirm what is on the shelf for your specific build.
