TAHOE · K2XX & T1XX PLATFORMS · ACDelco & GM GENUINE ON THE SHELF
Tahoe Parts
in Abu Dhabi
& the UAE
Both Tahoe platforms, the K2XX (2015–2020) with its solid rear axle and the T1XX (2021-on) that switched to independent rear suspension, are covered from the Musaffah shelf. The 2021 platform change touched every rear brake, CV axle, and hub assembly. ACDelco and GM Genuine stock for both generations sits at the counter. Send your VIN and we confirm which application applies.
INVENTORY
What We Hold for the Chevrolet Tahoe at Musaffah
The Musaffah shelf runs regular stock of GM Genuine and ACDelco parts for both Tahoe platforms: K2XX (2015–2020) and T1XX (2021-on). On the shelf: brake pads and rotors for all four corners, front upper and lower control arms, rear control arms for the solid-axle K2XX (four-link) and the IRS T1XX (multi-link), shock absorbers, wheel bearings, stabilizer bar links, engine and cabin filters, oil filters, and spark plugs. The 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 is the engine most UAE-market Tahoes run, and we keep its service items in depth.
T1XX (2021-on) added rear CV half-shafts, separate rear control arms, and T1XX-specific rear caliper carriers that have no equivalent on the K2XX. We stock these separately. K2XX (2015–2020) uses a solid rear axle: no rear CV axle, and the rear brake hardware fits only that solid-axle configuration. WhatsApp the year and trim level to confirm which generation applies before you visit.
GENERATION DECODER
Reading Your Tahoe's Generation: GMT800 Through T1XX
The fastest way to read a Tahoe generation is through the rear suspension. GMT800 (2000–2006) and GMT900 (2007–2014) both ran solid rear axles; K2XX (2015–2020) kept that layout. T1XX (2021-on) is the only generation to make the switch to fully independent rear suspension. Knowing that one fact tells you whether rear CV axles exist on the truck. What it does not resolve is which solid-axle generation you have, because rear rotors, caliper brackets, and hub assemblies differ across all three and none of those parts cross between them.
GMT900 (2007–2014) reaches the UAE predominantly as second-hand imports, and it is also the most frequently misidentified at the counter. Most GMT900 variants pair a Vortec 5.3L (Gen IV) with Active Fuel Management (AFM), and AFM changes the lifter and valve-train parts compared to the GMT800's AFM-free Gen III Vortec. GMT800 (2000–2006) predates direct injection entirely; its parts belong to a different catalogue family. The table below starts at the second generation: GM considers the GMT400 Tahoe (1995–1999) the first, but that generation does not reach this market. Send a photo of the engine bay alongside your VIN on WhatsApp and we confirm the generation before anything comes off the shelf.
| Generation | Years | Platform code | What changes for parts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Second generation | 2000–2006 | GMT800 | Gen III Vortec V8, no AFM; front brake rotors and calipers are not shared with the 2007-on GMT900 |
| Third generation | 2007–2014 | GMT900 | Gen IV Vortec 5.3L with AFM; front brake hardware changed from GMT800; AFM lifter set differs from the GMT800 Gen III |
| Fourth generation | 2015–2020 | K2XX | EcoTec3 Gen V V8 (direct injection); electric power steering replaces hydraulic; service parts do not cross from GMT900 |
| Fifth generation | 2021–present | T1XX | Multi-link IRS replaces solid rear axle; rear CV axles, knuckles, and all brake hardware are T1XX-specific |
OEM & AFTERMARKET
ACDelco Tiers and GM Genuine for the Tahoe: Which Line to Run
The Tahoe brake pad spec depends on the generation. ACDelco Gold (Professional) pads are friction-compound-matched to the front caliper specification for each platform, carry an OEM-equivalent compound rating, and are calibrated to the factory ABS system. ACDelco OE is the direct factory-matched tier by part number. Silver (Advantage) suits high-mileage or secondary-use builds. GM Genuine Parts is the single factory OE tier, matched to the assembly specification.
Rear IRS components on the T1XX (2021-on) are not a casual order. The rear CV axle geometry, carrier bearing seating, and knuckle profile all changed completely from the K2XX configuration. Running an incorrect rear IRS part risks shifting suspension geometry and misaligning the ABS wheel speed sensor. WhatsApp your year and VIN and we confirm the right ACDelco or GM Genuine line for your generation before we pull anything from the shelf.
FITMENT CHECK
The Rear Axle Split: Fitting Tahoe K2XX vs T1XX Parts
Tahoe K2XX (2015–2020) has a solid rear axle. When the T1XX arrived for 2021, the solid axle gave way to fully independent rear suspension. That engineering shift makes rear brake rotors, caliper brackets, hub assemblies, rear control arms, and driveshaft configuration entirely different between the two generations. Nothing from the rear of a K2XX fits the rear of a T1XX.
Inside the K2XX, front brake spec varies by trim. Premier and High Country trims on the 6.2L V8 ran a larger front rotor; LS and LT trims on the 5.3L used a smaller one. UAE-market K2XX Tahoes came mostly with the 5.3L. Before ordering front brake parts, check the engine code and trim on the 17-digit VIN, which carries both.
T1XX (2021-on) in the UAE runs almost entirely on 5.3L or 6.2L V8 power. The 3.0L Duramax diesel available in North America rarely shows up locally. Send your VIN and we confirm the specific build before pulling anything off the shelf.
DELIVERY & HOURS
Getting Tahoe Parts to You: Dispatch and Collection
Motronix Shop is at Musaffah Industrial Area M-40, Abu Dhabi. Monday to Saturday, 08:30–19:30. Tahoe parts pulled from stock before midday leave the same day within Abu Dhabi. WhatsApp your VIN and part type before you travel so we can check availability from the shelf before you arrive.
Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman get next-working-day service; so do the Emirates to the north. Remote locations: confirm the lead time on WhatsApp before you order. We do not set aside parts for unconfirmed requests.
WARRANTY
Warranty Cover for Tahoe Parts: What We Accept
Manufacturing-defect warranty covers the GM Genuine and ACDelco parts we supply for the Tahoe. To process a warranty return, bring the part and a fault document to the Musaffah counter. A workshop report or a written description of the failure both qualify. Brake components, suspension arms, filters, and mechanical parts for K2XX and T1XX builds are all covered.
No electrical part can come back once fitted. That covers ABS wheel speed sensors, TPMS modules, and suspension control modules among others. If you have any uncertainty about whether an electrical part matches your Tahoe, send the part number and fault code on WhatsApp before it goes on the truck. We check the specification against your VIN before you commit.
FITMENT REFERENCE
Tahoe Fitment Reference: ACDelco Part Numbers by Application
All part numbers in the table below come from two sources: the ACDelco product catalogue and the parts.chevrolet.com reference database. Use them for fitment guidance only, not as real-time stock or pricing. The Tahoe spans two main platforms: K2XX (2015–2020) and T1XX (2021-on). Service filters and spark plugs cover both, but every rear suspension and brake component splits by generation. A3181C covers K2XX and the earlier GMT900; 84121217 is the T1XX air filter. Front rotors 18A1705 and 18A1705AC span GMT900 and K2XX through approximately 2018. WhatsApp the specific part number with your 17-digit VIN; we confirm availability before anything is pulled.

ON THE SHELF
Tahoe Parts We Regularly Supply from the Musaffah Counter
Every row in this table comes from Motronix's internal records, covering actual stock and invoiced transactions reviewed in September 2026. These are the Chevrolet Tahoe parts supplied most often from the Musaffah counter, ranked by real demand across invoice volume and customer enquiries over the past two years.
Use this table for planning, not for same-day availability. Call or WhatsApp with your 17-digit VIN before you travel in to confirm what is on the shelf today.
The Tahoe parts counter here handles a broader mix than most single-model benches: you will see engine seals and drivetrain mounts moving alongside a starter motor and electronic sensors. That spread signals customers coming from multiple Tahoe generations, from GMT800-era trucks through K2XX to current T1XX builds.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can T1XX (2021-on) Tahoe brake parts be used on a K2XX (2015–2020)?
- No. What changed with the 2021 T1XX is the rear suspension type, which went from solid axle to independent, and that made every rear brake part, hub assembly, and CV axle incompatible with the K2XX. Front brake parts also vary by generation and trim. Send your VIN on WhatsApp and we find the correct part on the shelf.
- Does the T1XX Tahoe (2021-on) use rear CV axles?
- Yes. T1XX (2021-on) runs rear CV half-shafts through a fully independent suspension layout. K2XX (2015–2020) ran a solid rear axle; there were no rear CV axles on that platform at all. The drivetrain layout, rear hub assemblies, and rear brake specs all differ between the two generations as a result. We stock T1XX rear CV axles. VIN on WhatsApp to confirm your build.
- Do you carry Tahoe parts matching the UAE-market build spec?
- Yes, and the shelf reflects what the market actually runs. Tahoe builds in the UAE come predominantly with a 5.3L V8 engine; a few differences from US-spec exist, particularly around exhaust catalyst configuration and TPMS sensor frequency. Send your 17-digit VIN on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact application before pulling parts.
